The artist Viktor Lyapcalo was born in 1956 in Ukhta, Komi ASSR.

In 1987 he graduated from the Academy of Arts named after I.Repin, B. Ugarov's studio.

He has taken part in exhibitions since 1987.

One-person exhibitions in Marburg (1992, 1993), Munich (1994), Hesse (1995),

Amsterdam (2000), Saint Petersburg (1996, 1997, 1999, 2006, 2007, 2009).

Victor's works are in numerous private collections in Russia and abroad.
